Frequently asked questions

When does BrainrotWar come out, and how do I get updates?

No release date has been announced yet. BrainrotWar is in development for iOS and Android, and we would rather not guess a date than miss one.

Launch news goes out by email: write to support@gaadamgames.com and ask to be told when the game is live. That is the only list we keep, and we use it for nothing else.

Is the game free?

Yes. BrainrotWar is free to download and free to play, with optional in-app purchases and opt-in rewarded ads.

Nothing has to be bought to finish the game — purchases are for players who want to move faster or collect more.

Which devices can run it?

iOS 15 or newer on iPhone, and a recent version of Android on a phone from the last few years. Older devices and older operating system versions may not be supported.

If you are not sure about your model, write to support@gaadamgames.com and we will tell you.

I reinstalled the game and my progress is gone.

Your progress lives on the device. Reinstalling the game, clearing its data or moving to a new phone removes that local save, and the game starts from the beginning.

If you use the cloud save features, your progress is also stored on our side and can be brought back. Linking a Google Play Games account is what makes that restore reliable across devices. Without cloud save there is nowhere else for us to read the save from, and a local save cannot be recovered.

How do I restore a purchase?

Open the game and use its restore purchases option. It asks the store for the purchases made with the account signed in on this device, so that account has to be the same one you paid with.

If the item still does not appear, write to support@gaadamgames.com with the receipt the store emailed you, and we will look into it.

How do refunds work?

Refunds are handled by the store that took the payment, not by us — we never see the card, and we cannot issue a refund ourselves.

Each page explains that store's window and process. If you are stuck between the two of us, write to support@gaadamgames.com and we will help you find the right form.

How do I get rid of the ads?

The optional "no ads" purchase removes the interstitial ads, the ones that appear between levels.

Rewarded videos stay available afterwards, because they only ever play when you tap to watch one — they are how the game hands out some of its free rewards.

The game stutters or drops frames on my phone.

Close the apps running in the background, and check for an update in the App Store or Google Play — a busy phone and an old version account for most of the stutter we hear about.

If it still happens, tell us: your device model, the game version from the settings screen, and what was happening on screen at the time. Write to support@gaadamgames.com and we will test on that class of device.

How do I report a bug or a bad translation?

Write to support@gaadamgames.com with your device model, the game version, and the steps that lead to the problem: what you tapped, what you expected, what happened instead.

For a translation, a screenshot of the screen plus the language you are playing in is the fastest fix. Bug reports and typo reports are read by the people who make the game.

Can my child play BrainrotWar?

BrainrotWar is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them — the privacy policy has the details.

On a child's device, use the parental controls built into iOS or Android: they can require approval for every purchase and limit ad tracking. If your child has already been playing and you want the data behind the game profile removed, write to support@gaadamgames.com and we will take care of it.

Delete your data

BrainrotWar keeps two things. On your device there is a local save file with your progress, settings and unlocks. If you used the cloud features, there is also an anonymous profile on our backend: a player identifier, the saves attached to it, and any leaderboard entries. That profile holds no name, no password and no email address unless you wrote to us yourself.

  1. Reset your progress inside the game (Settings → reset). This clears the local save on that device, and the game starts from the beginning.
  2. Email support@gaadamgames.com from any address, with the subject "Data deletion request" and the player name or identifier shown on the game's profile screen. That identifier is what lets us find the right cloud profile.
  3. We confirm the request and delete the cloud profile, its saves and its leaderboard entries within 30 days, then reply to tell you it is done.
  4. Purchase records stay with Apple or Google. They are the store's record of a payment, kept under that store's own policy and retention rules, and we cannot delete them for you.

Deleting is permanent and cannot be undone. Once the cloud profile is gone, its saves and leaderboard entries cannot be restored — there is no backup copy to put back. Uninstalling the game removes only the local copy on that device, not the cloud profile; that needs the request above.

There is nothing else to delete. No account, no password and no email address is needed to play, so there is no login to close and no other profile to deactivate beyond the anonymous one described above.
